AUTUMN/WINTER 2025
"Flaking from Polymer"
Inspired by artist Sabine Mirlesse's work Crystalline Thresholds, the autumn/winter 2025 collection draws its creative essence from her art. This land art installation, located in the ancient volcanic crater atop Mont-Dôme, features seven frozen thresholds sculpted by Atlantic winter winds during the 2022/23 season. The installation pays homage to her grandfather's frost research in 1936 and, due to its unique geographic setting, symbolizes a dialogue between humanity and nature.
This collection is more than a manifestation of natural inspiration; it is a profound exploration of nature's power. Winter elements are woven into the designs, with fabrics and structures echoing the textures of frost, the paths of the wind, and the flow of water. The clothing encapsulates a dynamic, unconventional beauty. Just as winter frost envelops the metal structures and gradually fades to reveal their original state, the garments gain new vitality through the wearer's participation.
The autumn/winter 2025 collection represents the intersection of accumulation and erosion, a witness to time and space, narrating nature's vitality on non-natural objects. We hope the wearer is not just an observer but an active participant in this cyclical symphony.
